START: Just before PCT and TRT junction
FINISH: A couple of miles or so after Peter Grubb Hut.
DISTANCE: 33.5 miles (53.9 km)
TOTAL DISTANCE: 1165.2 miles (1884.8 km)
Regular snow drifts continued, the remnants of some heavy March/April storms which hit the central Sierra region. Passed through Squaw Valley, site of the 1960 winter Olympics and had dinner at the Peter Grubb Hut, one of only two or three such refuges on the entire PCT.
