Fantastic day. Covered good ground despite a challenging climb and occasionally rugged and snow covered terrain. Non-stop panoramic views were the reward. Possibly my favorite section of the PCT in southern California.
Spent an enjoyable few hours late afternoon/early evening hiking with Dave, a red headed New Zealander who has spent quite a bit of time working in the outback of Western Australia. Great to chat about rugby, cricket and all things Australasia! Thanks for the company, mate, and best of luck on the rest of your hike!
