Just a quick note to say thanks to all of the people (there has been at least five or six; I think a couple were even non-family members) who have been kind enough to write into the blog/website over the past fifteen months. Sorry, I haven’t always replied; hiking fourteen hours a day, week after week, month after month, often leaves little time to keep up with correspondence, particularly when my time in towns and/or locales with internet reception is often limited. However, up until now I haven’t regularly been publishing these comments; this part of the whole “blogging” concept seemed to have passed me by. All that is about to change! Was that trumpets I heard in the background? From now on comments will be regularly published, and whenever possible I will try to type (if you can call it typing on this little iPhone thingamajig) the occasional reply. Thanks again to all of my semi-loyal readers; that’s you Mum, Dad, Sis and cousin Nath.

And me Cam.
Love ya Cam, you are a constant inspiration. Albsolutely love reading your blogs/posts. On on!
I love following your posts. The pictures you post make me want to visit the places you do. I am a small time, day hiker, so what you have been able to accomplish amazes me. Thank you for posting anything, I treasure each post as a vicarious experience! To quote a song by REO Speedwagon “Keep Pushing on!” and I will keep reading.
The diary of a hiking madman, for sure. Keep on plugging away, Swami. You’re an animal unleashed upon the American backcountry, and I mean that with all due respect and adulation.
Hey Brett,
What can I tell you………I do love my hiking! Thanks for your message. These past days in NM have brought back some great memories of the GET/SW Horseshoe. How was the ‘Red Rock Superloop’?
